In 1962 Polymer Chemist Joe Palcher invented a formula that protected rubber, plastic and vinyl from UV rays. The wonder product was then bottled up and sold as auto-protector. Ten years later, the product was then patented as Armor All Protectant and now sells worldwide with many different products.
