RAW, founded in 1995 by Josh Kesselman, is a brand of rolling papers, filters, and hand-rolling machines, known for its unbleached, vegan-friendly papers that preserve the natural flavour of what’s smoked. The brand was born from Kesselman’s passion for rare rolling papers and his experience running a smoke shop. After a series of early business ventures, he launched RAW in 2004, offering natural, unprocessed papers free from chemicals and dyes. RAW quickly gained popularity, especially after hip-hop artists endorsed it, and the brand saw significant growth.
