Q8 Formula M Long Life 5W40 is a high performance low SAPS engine oil designed for Mercedes Benz Euro 4 and Euro 5 diesel engines with a diesel particulate filter, requiring MB 229.51 or 229.31. It is also approved for use in the latest Porsche models, including Boxster, Cayman, 911, 911 Turbo and Cayenne, with direct injection or turbocharged petrol engines. This versatile oil is suitable for passenger cars and light duty commercial vehicles and meets the demands of GM Dexos 2, BMW Longlife 04, Chrysler MS 11106 and Ford M2C917 A. It also meets the requirements of ACEA C3 and API SN. With excellent oil film strength, wear protection and cold start performance, it helps extend engine life while offering superb protection for exhaust catalysts and diesel particulate filters. Approved by a wide range of manufacturers including Fiat (H2, S2, T2, Z2), VAG (VW 505.00 and 505.01) and more, it is produced at Q8Oils’ Belgian facility with a cradle to gate carbon footprint of just 1.42 kilograms CO2 equivalent per kilogram.
